Four weeks until baby Charlie arrives. How scary!

So far, we have been blessed with 2 baby showers. Gracewood Baptist threw us one back in August and the Baldwin Baptist Association threw us one a few weekends ago. We bought a 3 in 1 crib from Target for the baby and at this point, I think that we have most of the essentials that we need. There are a few other things that are needed.

When I was at the WMU weekend, a lady started telling me about Bum Genius 3.0 diapers. They are re-usable diapers. I started reading about them and ended up buying four to try them out. We have been given some disposable diapers -- so, we might end up using both of them and see which works better. My Mom has really been wanting me to use cloth diapers -- the Bum Genius ones seem better than regular cloth diapers. Guess we'll have to wait and see.

For probably the past month, I've been waking up at least 6 times during the night to pee. Which makes it hard to get a good nights sleep -- so, I feel tired most days. And as quiet as I try to be, I still manage to wake up Jarrod during the night. So, he's been really tired too.

I find that I stand for too long and can't sit for too long. Craziness. The more water I drink - the better off I am.

We went to the doctor last week and the baby weighs 4 pounds, 12 ounces. They have been a little worried about his growth rate. I had to go to a specialist b/c of all of the heart problems that are in my family. The baby is healthy but his growth rate percentile has dropped to 12%. The doctor said that as long as he is above the 10% - she is happy.

I packed my bag for the hospital last night -- mostly b/c Jarrod was harassing me about packing it. I guess the closer the due date gets - the more real it is becoming. Not really sure what we will do when he arrives -- we are hoping to figure it out as we go. I've been reading some and getting lots of advice.

My parents are really excited. Especially my Mom -- going nuts.

Due date is now October 25th. We'll see how true that might be...
