Charlie was 8 months old on the 22nd of this month! He is still not crawling. But, he is definitely trying. He is becoming a master of rolling around. Sometimes he can't figure out that he needs to move his arm to roll over! HAHA! He has been trying to crawl for maybe a week and a half. Today is June 26th. He gets so frustrated. Today, he screamed in frustration. I laughed - I knew he was so frustrated and to realize that he was venting frustration tickled me. Maybe it was because I knew exactly why he was frustrated.
Charlie is weighing in at about 19.1 pounds and is 26.5 inches long. He was sleeping through the night in Orange Beach. We moved back to Southaven, MS on Memorial Day weekend and he has slept through the night twice only. :(
He still only has 2 bottom teeth but he sure is rubbing his gums. He smiles at strangers and loves to stick his tongue out. My Dad and Charlie often lie in the floor and stick their tongues out at each other. Charlie is still having three naps a day. He is still in #2 diapers!
Charlie is eating about 4-5 baby food jars per day (the 4 ounce jars). He loves to eat. He was blowing raspberries all over me while he ate. I thought and thought of how I could make him stop. Finally, I put a little bit of lemon juice on the end of my finger and every time he spat his food - I stuck my finger in his mouth. And he quit!
Charlie pitched a 45 minute fit at my parents house the other day while my Mom was keeping him. I think that he might have a little separation anxiety! Oh dear!
Charlie's hair is light brown -- almost blond. It sticks up everywhere - alot like Jarrod's did when he was little. He isn't saying words yet. Although, I try to get him to say "mama" or "dada" and he won't!
