Almost 15 months

In five days, Charlie will be 15 months old. How does time fly that quickly? It just seems like the other day that we were getting up all hours of the night and walking around like zombies. Now, Charlie loves his naps. We ask him "Charlie, do you want to Goodnight Moon?" And he'll walk down the hallway to his room. Goodnight Moon is the book that we read to him before his naps and before he goes to bed for the night. He is understanding just about everything that is said to him. You can also see frustration on his face when he's trying to communicate.

He is quite the little parrot too. Repeating stuff that you say. He threw a book at my Mom the other day and said "Read it". It was suprising and a little funny. He's quite the little comedian -- he giggles alot and makes alot of funny faces. He follows people around and we often refer to him as our little puppy.

He follows Jarrod the most. He adores Jarrod. :)

I cut his hair for the first time last week. I was terrified that it would look awful. That he would look like Frankenstein or worse. But, it actually wasn't that bad. We put him in his feeding chair and he watched movies on his portable dvd player. He was a little curious about what was going on with the haircut but not a whole lot. I cut it all with scissors and did the back of his neck and the back of his head with our clippers. I got his hair professionally cut back in November and really tried to take note of what the lady did when she was cutting it.

Charlie goes for his 15 month shots at the end of the month. He'll get his chickenpox shot. Maybe that will keep him from getting the chickenpox.

This week, his gums have been really sore and he's been running a slight fever. So, his molars might start coming through soon. He still has just 8 teeth.

Charlie loves to eat. I often refer to him as "the human garbage disposal" b/c he will eat anything. I try to get him to eat alot of veggies and fruits. No fried food and not too many sweets.

He is a sweet little boy and everyday is a fun day with Charlie around. :)
